Chairman's Statement
Thank you for taking the time to visit the Andrew Industries Group website. From its small beginnings in 1894 when the founder Edward Worsley Andrew began business in Bury just north of Manchester, the Andrew Group has grown to become a multi-national manufacturing business with operations on three continents.
Today the Group is still family owned which encourages the personal values of loyalty, integrity and commitment from our 900 employees located throughout the world.
The Board has always adopted the policy of reinvestment in its people and manufacturing equipment. The three divisions comprising laundry textiles, industrial materials, engineering/component parts manufacturing are each well respected leaders in their specific market sectors.
A second core principle of the Group is to support all our customers on a global basis. Today we have manufacturing sites in Europe, the USA, Mexico, Malaysia and China.
The third core principle of the Group is to encourage entrepreneurial vision amongst all our employees.
All three divisions have dedicated sales, marketing and business development teams tasked with identifying new markets and opportunities which have synergy with the Group’s expertise and strategic direction. To support this activity we have state of art R and D facilities located in all our businesses where we seek to support the needs of our customers on a global basis.
As Chairman of the Andrew Group, I believe that our business policies have served us well and will continue to do so in the future.
