Textile Division

The Textile Division is testimony to the Group's ability to be innovative. In the early years, prior to 1960, the business was primarily a weaving operation. The company was then redirected by the present major shareholder, E.D. Andrew, towards the revolutionary technology of the day, needlefelt manufacture.

Today the division has state of the art manufacturing facilities in the UK, United States, Canada and China producing high quality engineered technical needlefelts and specialist dry laid non-woven materials used in a large and diverse range of industrial applications.

The Textile division is the leading supplier world-wide of dust filtration needle felts for pollution control installations.

Our engineered textiles are also widely used in office automation, appliance, metal, pharmaceutical, plastic, cement and paint spray applications.

The division has constantly invested in the latest equipment and technology, coupled with a highly motivated international team of expert textile technologists who lead the field in providing innovative solutions to ever-changing and challenging filtration applications.
